Guide: How to use TeamSpeak

2020-11-25
One of the requirements for joining the clan is a microphone and using TeamSpeak 3.

Since lots of players visit our server every day and many of them think about joining the clan, more and more applications come in where the clan members' main objection is that we don't know the person applying.

The best way to get to know someone is TeamSpeak.

TeamSpeak 3 is a group voice chat program that works similarly to Skype - it's better in that it doesn't load your computer, and (if you set it up) you can talk only while holding a key, which makes life easier, especially when there are several or a dozen people in the conversation.

Now that we know what TeamSpeak is, I'll explain step by step how to use it:

1. Download the program:

http://www.teamsp...=downloads

2. Install it - a standard, intuitive installation, so there's no point describing it.

3. After installing, click "Connect" in the top left corner.

4. A window appears where you enter two values: the server address and your nick.

The TeamSpeak server address is: 79.133.192.57:9637

Enter your nick exactly as it is in the game.

5. Click Connect.

WE ARE ON TEAMSPEAK

6. Click "Settings" (third from the right)
and choose "Options" (at the very bottom)

7. In the options, choose "Capture" (sixth from the top)

8. Choose "Push-To-Talk" and press the key you want to hold down while speaking (personally I suggest Ctrl - tested by at least a few people)

9. At the very bottom of the window click "Apply"

EVERYTHING IS SET UP

Now that we're on TeamSpeak and everything is set up (obviously you need a microphone and headphones or speakers), you can start using the program - but you're on our server's channel, so please follow a few rules.

TS SERVER RULES
